The client needed a custom 3D mascot animation featuring a semi-realistic owl character, created from scratch based on a reference image. The challenge was creating a custom rig with numerous feathers that would animate correctly, especially for wing movements. The rig needed to support complex animations including facial expressions (blinking left/right eye, happy, sad, angry), wing folding drivers for easier animation, and a flat foot feature that allows the owl to stand flat or grip branches and surfaces.
