How do I turn a dragon image into a 3D model?

Upload a reference image to the Highly Detailed Sculpture tool in ThreeDee Nova. Generate your model, then rotate it to check the wings, horns and tail.

What kind of dragon picture works best?

Use a clear image of one dragon against a simple background. A three-quarter view helps show the snout, wings and body. Keep the tail and wingtips inside the frame.

Can I try a dragon model before creating my own?

Yes. Choose a dragon in the explorer and drag to rotate it. Select Multi-View for three angles, or download the original Dragon Statue as a free STL.

How do I prepare a dragon for 3D printing?

Open the STL in your slicer and set the print size. Check the thickness of horns and wingtips, then review supports beneath the wings and tail before printing.

Can I order a 3D print of my dragon?

Yes. Once your dragon is ready, open it in ThreeDee Nova and select Buy 3D Printed Copy to order a physical print from our studio.

Can I order a hand-painted dragon?

Yes. Choose hand painting when you order your 3D print in the app. Our artists paint the physical dragon after printing. You can also order it unpainted and finish it yourself.

What material do you use to print dragons?

Our studio uses high-quality resin to capture fine details such as scales, horns and wing folds.

We use high-quality resin to capture fine details like strands of hair and the rims of glasses, even on small portraits. Bust sizes start at 5 cm tall.
